Meet Brandy

Hi! I'm Brandy, and I've been a proud cat mom for over 20 years. If you ask me, cats are absolutely the most perfect creatures on earth—they're smart, hilariously independent, and every single one has their own quirky personality that makes them special.

My Fur Family

Right now, my family shares our home with three very different cats:

Chulo is our grumpy old man who's made it clear he's in charge. He tolerates everyone with quiet dignity (read: side-eye), but will also complain loudly when we get on his nerves.

Magnolia and Jazmine are our playful, feisty Ginger sisters. My family rescued them from the West Bank earlier this year, and they've kept life interesting ever since. Watching them settle into their forever home reminds me why I do this work—every cat deserves to feel safe, loved, and spoiled.

I also look after a few neighborhood porch cats, making sure they've got food, fresh water, and a lap to sit in on sunny afternoons.

Our cats are part of our family. They're why I get the anxiety that comes with leaving town and needing someone you can actually trust to care for your babies.

Why I Started This Business

I've experienced that pre-trip panic firsthand: "Who's going to take care of my cats? Can I trust them? Can I even afford this?" It's stressful. I started Purrr-De-Lis because I wanted to create the service I wish existed when I traveled—someone reliable, who genuinely loves cats, and who won't charge a fortune for quality care.

Your cat deserves the best. You deserve peace of mind. It's that simple.

My Service Area

I serve Uptown, Mid-City, the French Quarter, and Bywater. I get around on my e-bike (doing my part to reduce my carbon pawprint!). If you're in a different neighborhood, reach out anyway—I might be able to make it work.

Bonded & Insured (Because That Matters)

Purrr-De-Lis is fully bonded and insured. Here's what that means:

Bonded means if something goes wrong—like property damage or loss—you're financially protected.

Insured means if there's an accident or injury during a visit, we're both covered.

Bottom line: You're working with a legitimate, professional business. Your home, your stuff, and most importantly, your cat are protected.
